For the past 3.5 years I've had the same hair cut, which I must admit I do love but I am also kind of ready for a change. Before that I had verrrry long hair (which I will never go back to) and after wanting to go Michelle Williams boy-short I decided I wasn't game enough yet and opted for the bob.
My hair is pretty easy to maintain. When I was younger I had very tight ringlets, which luckily for me, dropped out - but now my hair has a mean (not in a good way) kink to it. Unfortunately this isn't an effortless bed-head look... I find that I have to straighten my hair each time I wash it. Which is nearly every day. Boo.
Also, my hair in INSANELY thick. Actually, it's more that I just have a LOT of hair. My hairdresser always comments how much hair I have and is overwhelmed by the time it takes him just to thin it out to a normal thickness.
So... it's time for a change. I was throwing around the idea of growing it out but vetoed that idea for the following reasons:
- I hate the in-between stage (which I'm very close to at the moment). This means my hair flicks out on my shoulders and only looks good pulled up or curled - and I can't be bothered to curl my hair each morning
- every time I ask a group "long hair or short hair?" most girls agree on short hair but EVERY SINGLE GUY says long hair. Move on fellas - long hair went out as the norm a long time ago in the fashion world. What is it with guys and long hair? I personally would take short hair over long hair any day of the week (probably because I don't have the patience for dealing with incredibly long, incredibly thick hair)
- see aforementioned. My hair is so thick it takes FOREVER to dry it and style it. Even after having it thinned.
Well at least it's settled. Short hair it is.
I also want to change my hair colour - I've only coloured my hair a handful of times and always opt for my natural dark brown colour.

I do want to go a fair bit lighter, but I'll have to be careful as with my pale skin I don't want to look washed out...
The following photos are the style I will get cut, which is exactly what I have now anyway... I always like getting it cut that little bit shorter though as my hair grows so quickly.
I'm just putting it out there, Bingers has the greatest hair known to mankind.
