The low-down: an exhibition is currently showing in the US at the moment both recognising and celebrating the ever-iconic Chanel black tweed jacket. The exhibition itself features 120 different interpretations of this jacket by models, actors and slashies. The best part? The photographs were shot by none other than Karl Lagerfeld himself (the head of the fashion house for those playing at home).
This cool idea is the brain child of Lagerfeld and a fashion favourite of mine, Carine Roitfeld (former Vogue France Editor-in-chief and fashion icon to boot).
You should most definitely click on the link above to head to the official Chanel: The Little Black Jacket website to have a squiz at some snaps, making-of videos and to appreciate the tweed jacket itself.
In the meantime, I've added some of my favourite photos from the exhibition AND some photos from the exhibition opening held this week.
