Anyone who knows me will know Gorman is one of my favourite everyday brands. I love everything about Gorman. From their designs, prints even down to the kit-out and decoration of their physical stores.

I love going to the movies - admittedly I haven't been in a while. I last saw The Five Year Engagement* which was pretty funny, but it was sooo long. They would have kept my attention the whole way through if they had of cut out about forty minutes of shit. That, and the removal of the little children in front of me pashing the whole way through. That is DISTRACTING AND GROSS.

Anyway - next movie I see I'll be wearing the outfit below. I purposely chose the waterproof jacket to shield myself from the saliva of children. Thoughtful and stylish.

*EDIT - it may have been Dark Shadows. I have a terrible memory. This was also a questionable movie - the final scene was whack.

Mad Men (and advertising agencies) in the modern world.

Let's face it, we're all obsessed with Mad Men. Some more than others (... it's becoming unhealthy). I stumbled across this interesting article by Design Taxi which shows an infographic on the Mad Men characters, and how much they would earn in today's society.

Target: new designer collaboration 2012.

Whoaaaa mumma - I think this has to be the biggest collaboration to date.

It's just been announced Target will collaborate with 24 CFDA designers to contribute to a limited edition holiday collection. As if that's not enough Neiman Marcus is joining in on the fun too!

WWD daily suggests all 50+ pieces will have a price point between US$7.99-$499.99. What exactly can we expect? Womenswear, menswear, accessories, home wares and sporting goods.

The biggest question of all... what designers are collaborating?

Drumroll please, this is huge: Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, Altuzarra, Marchesa, Rogan and.... I can't believe it Proenza Schouler. Remember, this is only seven out of 24!

HUUUUGE news. Expect to see this rolled out (in America, and presumably with highly inflated prices on eBay) December 1. A VERY happy holidays to all.
