Anyone who knows me will know Gorman is one of my favourite everyday brands. I love everything about Gorman. From their designs, prints even down to the kit-out and decoration of their physical stores.

We've been lucky enough to get a little sneak peak of the upcoming Gorman Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook and damnnnn it looks good.

I love going to the movies - admittedly I haven't been in a while. I last saw The Five Year Engagement* which was pretty funny, but it was sooo long. They would have kept my attention the whole way through if they had of cut out about forty minutes of shit. That, and the removal of the little children in front of me pashing the whole way through. That is DISTRACTING AND GROSS.

Anyway - next movie I see I'll be wearing the outfit below. I purposely chose the waterproof jacket to shield myself from the saliva of children. Thoughtful and stylish.

*EDIT - it may have been Dark Shadows. I have a terrible memory. This was also a questionable movie - the final scene was whack.

Diane von Furstenberg: The Manhattan penthouse she calls home.

Reader beware: what you are about to view will scar you for life. The beauty of Diane von Furstenberg's Manhattan (Meatpacking District to be exact) apartment-cum-workspace is enough to generate supreme jealousy and daydreaming.

Symptoms include: increased heart-rate, sweaty palms, jealous thoughts, daydreaming.

Mad Men (and advertising agencies) in the modern world.

Let's face it, we're all obsessed with Mad Men. Some more than others (... it's becoming unhealthy). I stumbled across this interesting article by Design Taxi which shows an infographic on the Mad Men characters, and how much they would earn in today's society.

Target: new designer collaboration 2012.

Whoaaaa mumma - I think this has to be the biggest collaboration to date.

It's just been announced Target will collaborate with 24 CFDA designers to contribute to a limited edition holiday collection. As if that's not enough Neiman Marcus is joining in on the fun too!

WWD daily suggests all 50+ pieces will have a price point between US$7.99-$499.99. What exactly can we expect? Womenswear, menswear, accessories, home wares and sporting goods.

The biggest question of all... what designers are collaborating?

Drumroll please, this is huge: Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, Altuzarra, Marchesa, Rogan and.... I can't believe it Proenza Schouler. Remember, this is only seven out of 24!

HUUUUGE news. Expect to see this rolled out (in America, and presumably with highly inflated prices on eBay) December 1. A VERY happy holidays to all.

She's baaack: Chloe Sevigny for Miu Miu.

Guyssss she's back for Miu Miu!!

With this just released photo, Miu Miu have announced the amazing Chloe Sevigny will be the face for their Fall 2012 campaign (photographed by Marcus Piggot and Mert Alas).

She originally modelled for the company back in 1996 and is it just me or are the current snaps a quiet homage to 96? The same strawberry blonde pixie cut??

Either way - gorgeous!

Miroslava Duma.

Behold the beauty of Miroslava Duma, former Harpers Bazaar (Russia) Editor. She now works as a freelance writer for varying publications but is still a regular front-rower at all major fashion shows. I could watch this girl forever for her outfits and hair alone.

I mainly use Instagram just to watch her (@miraduma) and if that's not enough, she also has a Tumblr account "Fabulous Miroslava Duma" where you can keep up to date with her goings-on and even ask her questions.
